My '99 2.3 went through two snowy, blizzardy, icy Iowa winters...in my driveway...driven every day of those winters. Car was ALWAYS fine, inside and out. Plenty warm inside, and no top (or other weather-related) problems.

I would much rather have had it in a garage...but have no such animal, and none for rent anywhere nearby...so exposure to the elements was unavoidable...but not detrimental.
