No one really knows. I have been reading that there were prod probs with the engine, and that all available engines are going into the M3 and later this year the X3, until the demand is satisfied, cause BVMW makes more money on those cars. If I had to make a bet, I would bet there will be no MZ3 for 01. If the body style changes on the Z for MY 02, IMO that is when you will see the MZ3. Take your deposit back while you can.
