Dealer let me take out the Z3 with the big engine and two 323 (One with each transmission) last week. Need the big engine and the stick but fell in love with the Z3. Problem is that my back was sore after only a short but hard drive. I remember my old Nissan 240sx and how bad it hurt after 13 hours on the road. Very stiff suspension. Like being punched in the kidneys at every bump. Anyone taken a Z3 on a long trip. Such as a five day mountain vacation of 500+ miles a day. Is it tolerable? The 328 sedan's and 323 coup's I've drive were all more comfortable but had way too much power assist in the steering.
Also, is it ever possible to see through the rear window? It seemed almost opaque the few times I drove it.
compared to the z3, 2.3 I would rather drive
the z3 on a long trip. The 5 and 7 series, i
dont know. They all have different seat adjustments, so i could have had the 328 in a bad
position. They drive good, especially the 328, but they look sort of like "non sports type"...
I'd rather drive a roadster, cut out the luggage
and forget the the bullshit baggage, passengers
and extra crap in life, in general!!
