Just returned from the Roanoak VA race. @the 1/2 way point of the race day I was ahead of (3) 911. I was running my street tires @ 44.673. The only cars ahead of me were 2 MR-2 Turbos, 1-911, & 2-RX7 Turbos. Running between 40 to 43 seconds (way fast, using racing tires of-course). Then it rained and two of the 911s behind ran faster? And so did I, but not fast enough. I ended up 7th @ 44.632. Not bad, since I started at 47.6sec

Now I feel that I need to find a new set of lightweight 16" with racing auto-x tires to break that 42-43 second time barrier, plus MORE track time. Which always helps.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to run for the next two weeks. Got other plans for the weekend. Plus, if I do go ahead to buy new deadicated tire/wheels for auto-x, I will need something to haul the combo or my car around. I dont feel like putting a trailer hitch on my car. So I figure I will sell my Honda Accord, buy a truck (Nissan/Toyota, whatever) and get a flat-bed trailer.

What ever I plan to do, I hope to see some more Z3 on the coarse. I have not seen one yet. =:(

Regards - - Nathan =:o
