I believe is was classified as a Class B vehicle (though I'm not sure exactly what BMW CCA classifications mean).

My best time on that course was approx. 90.5 seconds.

Another M Coupe buddy of mine (Joe Harrison) bested me with a best lap of approx. 90.0 seconds. (Guess I still need to practice!)

The X5 driver said that he could go faster, but being the first run, you usually take it slow to feel the course. The X5 would slide rather than tip (hence the reference to the X5 pretending to be a 740).

I left before I could see his 2nd and 3rd run, but I can only assume it got better.
