Does anybody participate in the Z3 chat? I added "#Z3" to my catalog list, but am the only participant right now (9:16pm CST)

Thanh,
Let me try to help ya back from the dark side of the moon...
Different IRC Servers out there ally themselves with a certain IRC Network.. there are LOTS of networks out there (EfNet, NewNet, 3DNet, etc, etc)

Z3 chatters use the NewNet IRC Network... so before you hit the "Connect" button, be sure you explicitly pick out a server identified on the pull-down list as NewNet... if not, you can manually ADD a server. Such a dialog box will need to be filled out like this:

mIRC Edit Server
Description
IRC Server
Port(s)
GroupLeave this blank
PasswordLeave this blank too

When you connect with this setting, you can jump into the partially hidden #Z3 channel by typing /join #Z3 at the prompt. You'll find folks in there during all sorts of hours throughout the week. Happy chattin'!

Carter
