I was so tired of washing the brake dust off my wheels. With Zymol Z3 Glaze on the car, I only need to brush it off with a California Car duster and wash it every two months. But the wheels are a different story. The brake dust is ugly and if any water splashed on the wheels, they look streakly. Washing requires scrubbing with a brush and I can never get the dust out of the recesses inside the wheel.
So, when I rotated my wheels, I totally washed and dried the wheel and Zymol treated them. I hated to use this expensive wax on the wheels, but it only took about a half teaspoon to do all four.
The results: I was able to rinse off almost all the brake dust with just a hose. The rest came of easily with just a soapy sponge, even inside the wheel and there was no dust in the crevices. I'm satisfied.
