Sorry to buck the trend, but I just picked up a 97 2.8, and had to take it back the very next day, and didn't get it back for a week! They deliverd the "Certified" car with a faulty fuel sending unit (no surprise but Ace the Sales Manager had "never heard of that problem". Nothing like knowing your product . . .)the front running light was broken and hanging out of the vehicle when I arrived home (noted during negotiations but they failed to fix it) It had a dent in fender, again noted and ignored, it backfired twice before I took it back (everything checks out), the seat rails are loose and they deam that normal (?????), it needed vacuuming on delivery, the windows and mirrros were dirty and all interior surfaces were all smudged up. They told me to pick it up Tuesday and it would be all fixed, didn't get it until Friday, after a day and a half with no returned phone calls. Bob H seams nice, but played dumb on the seat rails. Ace is okay, but it bugged me he didn't know the car and wasn't interested in learning (I told hime to check the forum, he declined) After leaving messages all day for Bob and twice being put on hold for over 10 min., getting a car that was not properly sorted out, and the pain in the ass of driving a loaner - oh get this - they gave me a loaner with an expired inspection and I got an F'n TICKET for it. They say they will pay it but until I see the check . . . I give them a 2 on scale of 1-10. PS - After bitchin about first detail job Aaron my salesman assured me they would redo it and nail it the second time. Picked it up, it hadn't been touched. I was way too sick and tired of them to bother, so I drove away, and will most likely not return.
I have just moved to Northern Virginia and would like a recommendation for a dealership to go to for service. Any help would be appreciated.
