Trunk Storage Unit coming loose. . . (archive)

I know that there have been articles on this previosly. I don't know if anyone has come up with a workable solution.

I purchased a Trunk Storage Unit and installed it myself. Read the directions cafefully several times. Was careful with the paint prep. Careful with the adhesive application. My installation held up for over six months. Now that the hot weather is here with is starting to separate.

I have been going through the archives but it is slow and painful and I am leaving on an extended trip on the 17th (Hunt, Tx; Houston, Tx; Okla. City, OK; two weeks in Buffalo, NY, and; a last stop in Madison, WI on the way back.

Any suggestions much appreciated.
