Dear Brad,
You have my fullest support and thanks for the defense of our beloved car against the infamous AUDI fraction. Please take into the consideration that in a sporty battle, one usually looks out for serious competitors and not for victims... But it seems that the bitch is clever, at least with her computing stuff.
I don’t know if you guy’s in the states have heard about the terrible accidents that have happened to those poor AUDI TT owner’s in Europe. Fact is that the AUDI TT is so bad designed that the car was declared to be unsafe to drive if not equipped with the ESP electronic stabilization program. On top of it at high speed, the ugly shaped round form of the AUDI TT produced that many lift at the rear end of the car that it now need a even more ugly looking spoiler at the aft, to be driven safe again. These deficiencies resulted in a big conversation campaign that not only cost AUDI a fortune, but made the AUDI TT drivers to the joke of the neighborhood here in Europe. If the subject has not been that deadly serious, we would have laughed even louder...
Quite the same happened to Mercedes with their A class during the elk test. And now it seems that these company’s have not done their homework until now. In a recent test of various SUV car’s where the new BMW 330iX scored highest points for driving safety and in which the X5 came close behind, both tested Mercedes a M320 and the AMG M55 were again lacking the driving safety at the slalom course in a manner where they placed the test drivers at the edge of a possibility of an overturn!
It now seems to me that the producers of modern premium cars are going to sacrifice some driving safety for the gain of fashion design or better value to their share holders.
I am of the impression that only BMW with their mission to build “driver oriented vehicles”, takes the health and the lives of their customers for serious.
So please leave those poor AUDI TT drivers alone..., they have enough to do with either keeping their car’s on track or with waiting at home until their beloved ugly car’s are be back from the garage with all the fancy conversions that they will need to stay safe on track.
Father forgive them, they don’t know what they’re doing...
