Rusnak in westlake village had two Boxsters (1 S and 1 2.7L) in both shades of green.Forest green is like "Boxstin green" and fain forest green is slightly darker but has a more complex hue to it when the sun shines in the right places ...very cool to see the difference.
The S has a center front air intake, 6 speed tranny, bigger brakes(red calipers) and front sway bars. Longer trailing arms, dual exhaust. The exterior difference are very subtle.
ther eare only two types of Boxsters. The 2.7L and the S. i>

is similar to Forest green.
Rain forest green and forest green are the two greens. Butm for 3K you can have Porsche paint your car- color to sample,,,,,,,,,which is sweet

hmmmm I was wonderin if you'd see that...

Hey, I tried to read PPBB but ya know it's down, and I tried to learn from the Porsche web site, but it don't work (I tried 2 browsers), and I went to the Boxster Web Ring but only started... so lemme ask you some stupid basic questions...

Do Boxsters have spare tires?
Are the bodies of the Boxster and the BoxsterS identical?
Is there a short answer to describe the basic difference between a Boxster and a BoxsterS?
Is there more choice of models between Boxster and BoxsterS, or is that it- 2 models then pick your options?

oh and... I keep finding myself saying "porsh"... oh well

thank you!
k... I got to see those colors ( I have to mention I think calling a car paint color "rainforest green" is uh... well .. )

Wish I had stopped by Rusnak to see them... ah well, maybe there'll be some next time (grin)

2.7 and S... engine size is also larger in the S?

All S's have red calipers?

The spare tire is key for me though, I won't drive a car without one...

Nothin ever made me interested in a Boxster, until your ride! :D

Mucho thanks for the info :)

Hey, do you folks often list your options? If it's not out of line to ask, would you list yours? Your car is gorgeous!
