An annoying noise was coming from in and around my shifter area. It turns out that a wire consisting of two strands (one brown, and the other red/grey) mated to a connector of some sort was making contact with my shifter.

After securing this loose wire to the wires coming from the power window switch, the annoying noise went away.

Anyone know what this wire is for???


Sounds like the connector for a lighted M shifter knob.
