Others have had problems with the unit sticking...but after properly preparing the trunk lid, mine first one stuck so well that removing it resulted in the plastic backing and fabric coming apart before the individual peices would come loose.
I would recommend that you strengthen the seams between the pockts before attaching it as my first one ripped out the seams fairly soon after installing it.

Storage solutions anyone? We are new 2000 Z3 convertible owners. I am worried about how to pack to travel in a Z3. Does anyone have/like the BMW trunk lid storage system/
