Shark Injection - 2nd attempt SUCCESSFUL (archive)

A several weeks ago, I had posted my 1st attempt on my new shark injector. At had failed to download the upgrade, ie. error code 147. This indicated an "old" version of BMW software. I was then instructed to ship the injector directly to JimC to analyze. Once JimC received my injector with my old existing software, JimC informed me that my 97 2.8 Z3 apparently had a "very new version" of BMW software that he had never seen before. Interesting...

In any case, JimC took abit of time to return the injector back to me. I finally received it last week and the 2nd attempt to download was SUCCESSFUL. Now the 1st driving impression wasn't dramatic and I figured it wouldn't be given that a 5-10% increase couldn't be felt much by the butt-dyno. But what I did sense was a very smooth draw of power from idle to near redline, very sweet. As I shifted through the gears, I felt a constant increase in hp, ie. like a perfect straight torque line with no dips at any moments. Nice. Maybe I'll take the time to dyno this car. Anyone recommend a dyno place in the south bay (San Jose, CA)?
