No offense but I dont think you need to attend driving school to step on the gas in 5th or 4th gear. Your attempt at humor, I hope, is not a reflection of your intellect. Obviously, I was concerned with a potential engine or drivetrain problem with my particular car. The fact that your 2.3 can keep up with a 2.8 only highlights my concern and does nothing to vitiate it.
