Hey everybody,

Let me first say that I had the time of my life at Homecoming. Not only was the driving great (I drove Carter's 1.9 all the way down) but the people were terrific too. I got to shake hands with lots of nice people who have corresponded with me via email. And I got to work alongside Jon and Andy Maddux at the LeatherZ booth. BAD ASS! Everyone who saw me there already knows I was having a big time - I'm sure the smile on my face was pretty obvious. A bunch of people even recognized me as "The guy with the E30, right". :D That's me!

So here's what I happened to find out about the future plans for the MZ3. Inside the factory was an Oxford Green/Estoril Blue top/beige interior M Roadster. The factory guy on the line with it told us it had the new motor. He said it had specifically 338hp. It is a pre-production car to be shipped to Germany for testing. It's slated for the USA.
I observed different shaped exhaust tips, a HUGE flat airbox inside the engine bay. The guages are revamped with silver background, not the usual black. The console guages were revamped too, it included an OBC without losing one of the other guages. I thought I noticed a different rear end but I can't confirm it - I was trying to soak up all I could in a short amount of time.
And that's all, folks. Other people saw it and they've got the scoop too. Glad to be back at home but sad to leave my newfound Z3 buddies.

The search for a Z3 begins,
Steve
