"98 Z3 2.8
My check engine light came on for the first time.
Found something that might fix.
1.) Verify the gas cap is on tight - car off
2.) Turn key to point all lights come on
3.) Wait about 2-5 sec. before turning engine over

I first tried filling gas tank up and started / turned off car a couple of times. This didn't work. So I drove home. On way home, came up above idea. It worked that time. Curious if it works the next.
