Thank, Terry. I should probably add that both times I had traction problems the road surface was a little bumpy (driving in Pittsburgh -- gotta love those old bridges), which surely contributed to loss of traction. However, I've driven those exact same roads hundreds of times in much worse (snow/ice) conditions in other cars without ever breaking loose, so my confidence in these tires is a bit shaken. Better burn them up quickly so I can replace them! (only 1800 mi. on them so far :( ...)
