Yes it is not "fair" that 16 year olds have the access to so much disposable income. But lessons come in time and as a 29 year old that has owned his share of "unfair" automobiles (I had a 944 at 17, a '55 porsche speedster at 20, a 93 RX-7 at 22, etc...) Not to mention the caliber of vehicles I had easy access to( my father has a twin turbo 600+HP Ruf twin turbo Porsche we affectionately call "Satan"). I must say the lessons come and they do come with a price. I've had more traffic violations than I care to count. Some unwarranted for my age in such pricey cars(evading an officer among them). This kid will pay for his bravado in spades. Traffic violations await you and those greedy insurance demons have their sights on you as we speek. I can only imagine the cost of insurance for a 16 year old on an MZ3. Add a the price of a few traffic violations to that final price before you return to the dealership with the decision to buy such a risky investment.

And in response to pcmmz3, I understand your position, but think of the possibilities at the age of 16 with 50K to spend on a car. Sure, this kids got a lot to learn but it's obvious that money management isn't one of them - particularly since he can afford an M. Grammar is the least of my worries... (I read the worst grammar on this board from time to time... please don't take this a call to proof-read my typing...)

En V uS, I think you should buy the car, loose your license, go to jail... or, buy the car drive it responsibly, get laid... The choice is yours, but take it from me, put the money in the bank... you can still get laid in a 1.9L - the girls don't know the difference. :)

There are cranky old people out here. You perhaps thought that there weren't?

I'm cranky about the idea that a 16 year old who obviously can't even read and write clearly...and can't type with even minimum proficiency...and never learned grammar, spelling, capitalization, or any other fundamentals of socialization as far as I can tell, has the audacity to come here and brag on his ability to buy an M Roadster, if we would just reassure that they are available.

As to being envious...yeah, I sure am. I'd love to be 16 again...even if it meant going back to no money. I'm not envious of anything about you personally, of course, at least not based on your communication skills. I would suggest that you crack the books a bit more, and hang around class now and then.

As far as finding you in an M Roadster, that is a completely horrifying thought, moreso for the damage you could, and probably will do, than for the fact that you could get your hands on that kind of cash.

However, I do wish you luck -- willingly -- since you are so clearly going to need it.

Oh, and I do apologize about getting the ID wrong...I only learned to spell the word correctly, so the teen-slang fooled me. However, in parting for this the last time, let me say that perhaps you SHOULD be the ENVIOUS one...since...
I ALREADY HAVE MY ///M ROADSTER!

nya na na na na.....na!
