As a proud owner of a ///Z3 as well as of a Ducati 996 I can only agree... Both these vehicles come with ample power, with exceptional power to weight ratio and with no driving adds. These are the machines for real men... But what are real men? A real man In my personal opinion has the capabilities to drive these machines to their limits (or at least close to their limits) and still to be in control of it all the time. On the other has he has both the character and the personality to know when, on public road, it is better to back of for his and for the others safety.
I can tell you that my Duc is a real Italian beauty and she is a dream to drive. But she will kick your ass if you don’t know her limits or shall I better say your limits. The same except for the Italian birthplace applies for my ///MZ3.
As I mentioned before on this board, here in Europe, all the cars equipped with the gadgetry to “better control the car”, share a low reputation in the eyes of the real sports car enthusiasts. This low reputation is only beaten by the real low reputation from the various cars that need these things in order to be driven safe...
So let’s get out and drive the cars as fast as we can and handle them safe. Without the gadgets, the choice is yours gentlemen...
