I'm also not sure what he's saying, but I definately do not put ABS in the same category as DSC or traction control. ABS is a performance enhancing feature as well as a safety device-allowing for shorter more controlled braking while having virtually no negative impact. I put ABS in the same catagory as suspension and engine mods- an excellent improvement. By contrast ASC and DSC take you out of the drivers seat in favor of training wheels. Big difference. Bottom line- Lap times go up with ABS and down with DSC.
