With a 98 M Roadster, my husband and I are a little late to upgrade, but just did. After concentrating on seeing and hearing them at Homecoming, we chose the Tri-Flo. It is now installed and sounds good. As far as really gaining alot from the system, I donot think I would base my decision on that. I read an article not to long ago in the car magazines about exhaust systems and the most important feature that makes your decision it seems is the sound. They do have different ends and different size mufflers. Some to us hang down to far and I didnot like the tips turned up the back. Watch the size of the tips, they could possible burn your paint. Bavarian Autosports are 2.5 even though the cataloque says 3. I called Tri-Flo on this and they said the cataloque has an error. But they are slanted straight ends. They looked great on the M. I also went with the modified version which tones it down some. Still plenty loud and nice cracklin noises when you downshift. They are bolt on and donot take alot of time to install. Supersprint bolts on too although to our surprise Dinan needed for you to cut to install. Donot know how to post pics but just took some nice pics if you would like me to email you one. It also is reasonably priced less than the other two. Of course, just personal opinion. The real decision would be yours. Glad to share.
