As noted in the articles on MZ3.net, the exhaust upgrades give aprox. 5 hp gain...not too noticable in a 240 hp car. Most people I've talked to that have changed the exhaust on an M roadster did so for the sound, not the power. IMHO, you would be better off spending the $1200 or so for a new throttle body or intake manifold, if you're looking for more power.

I have a 2000 MZ3 and it's time for me to upgrade my exhaust system.

I already sharked my roadster (software and CAI)so I want more power.

I looked at MZ3.Net page and Robert Leidy did a good article that reviewed a couple but he didn't really compare them.

I'm looking for serious feedback about the following;

1. Dinan
2. Supersprint
3. Tri-Flo

And also Remus even if it's not 100% stainless steel.

I want obviously more power but I am not looking at something that only sounds powerfull.

Stainless is good, but since my car will be store during winter and I never drive it when it rains, do I really need it ?

Also Why is Tri-flo a lot cheaper then Supersprint or Dinan ?

Any feedback would be really appreciated.
