Sports cars are so subjective. Drive them both and pick the one you like and the one you can afford.

Personally, I don't go by the numbers. Our oh-so-polite friend (below) points out that the S2000 beat the MZ3 in a track test. I've seen another test where the MZ3 beat the S2000 by 1.5 seconds. On a tighter, more technical course the S2000 prevails. Ultimately I went with the MZ3 over the Boxster (this was before the S2000 was released) because I drive mostly on the street, and torque rules in street driving.
