Thanks everyone for the ideas. I think the base concrete was fine as it wasn't flaking off. The wire brushing did create a fair amount of dust but the concrete seemed pretty stable.

After the acid etching that stuff said to test the concrete by putting duct tape down on it and pulling it off to see if any concrete comes with it. It doesn't.

I think I did all this fine since when the tires were dry there has been no problems. My Yokohama AVS are a lot sticker then Melissa's AVIDs but I've haven't pulled into the garage with wet tires yet. Melissa has and it pulled the next morning. I had my tires sliding across the epoxy when I jacked up/down my car and it had no problem then. It really seems like the water was the cause to me.

For now I put outdoor runners down for where the tires will rest when parked. I need to pick up a few more for my side.

Supposidly the cable modem is being installed tomorrow so maybe I can get some pictures up then.
