Like I said before, I think some over enthusiastic journalist was the Z9 cabrio and made it into the prototype for the next Z3. I don't think BMW is ready to unveil any prototypes yet. Geneva '01 or Frankfurt '01 will probably be the first place it will be shown IMO.
