In Reply to: EBS Green Stuff Brake Pads - Has anyone tried? posted by Razor on October 01, 2000 at 18:19:48:

Has anyone actually tried this product firsthand? The advertising blurbs sound great, but I'm curious to hear actual users' comments. It supposedly reduces (virtually eliminates?) the amount of brake dust that gets deposited on wheels.

Here is the official blurb by HMS MotorSport...

STOP THE BRAKE DUST... I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!

We hear this all the time and we are happy to say that we have found the solution... EBC Green Stuff is the hot new pad to the US Market that has captured the hearts of the British Automotive Press.

EBC Greenstuff Roadsport Compound - suitable for all fast road applications including hot coupes and fast sedans

ORDER: EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads

This pad features a high Kevlar content formulation resulting in an ultra high performance road pad which is extremely kind to discs. With a friction co-efficient of around 0.46µ and high resistance to brake fade (550º C) this pad is a superb upgrade for high performance street cars, high speed freeway use and consecutive heavy braking.

Greenstuff has won many awards from UK magazines, and was rated #1 fast road car brakes by UK's largest circulation motorsport magazine, Max Power, in 1999.

features and benefits:

o upgrades brake performance by 30-50%, friction co-efficient of 0.46µ

o excellent initial bite resulting in instant response - no warm-up needed

o class-leading fade resistance on the street - heat stable to a blistering 550ºC

o extremely low disc abrasion - due to high Kevlar content

o low dust formula, great for alloys - due to zero carbon content

o low vibration - smooth operation

All comments will be greatly appreciated.
