Huzzahs for Plaza Motors and Harry Rutherford (archive)

For the past 6 weeks, I've been plagued by an intermitent ignition problem. Lots of folks on the MB had suggestions for troubleshooting. However, Harry and the fine folks at Plaza Motors in Creve Coeur, MO
have finally exorcised the demons from my 96 1.9l!
My car was towed in Monday, and Plaza had her running like a top by noon Tuesday, 4 days before my scheduled service appointment.
Diagnosis--bad connection in wiring harness to crank shaft sensor and bad crank shaft sensor.
BMW covered 75% of the parts bill and I got out of the shop without having to drop a bundle!
