'97 Z3 1.9, 45,100 miles; Atlanta blue, tan dotted leather, new tan top; 5 speed; BMW CD changer, CPT 4500 cell phone and remote locking/alarm system; some service records. Overall, the car looks good but is not perfect.
Checking the online sources, I get this: NADA says the miles are below the acceptable range, and the average retail is $22,975 (lists high retail at $24,550). Kelley says nothing about the miles, and puts the retail at $25,260. Edmunds says the miles are high, and puts the market price at $22,120.
Knowing that people always want to negotiate, I currently have an AutoTrader ad that asks $23,500 or best offer. My webpage doesn't even specify a price. To date, I have gotten two bites. The first from a teenager who wants me to sell to him for $18,000, if he can get his parents to agree to it; and the second from a guy who was looking for a "car with absolutely no scratches or dings", which ours isn't.
I've got about 6 more weeks worth of severence pay, and I need to do something before it runs out. If I have to, I can get a friend of mine (car dealer) to run it through the used car auction in Atlanta, but that won't leave me with much.
So, any advice or thoughts?

BTW, many thanks to Jon Maddux who was gracious enough to put a link on the LeatherZ website to my webpage.
