I've got a MagLite that's probably the same size. I put mine underneath that hinged flap. There are two rubber strips of some kind (I haven't looked in my trunk in several days, just having gotten back from a long road trip) that looked like small bungee cords to me the first time I saw them. I just tucked the flashlight in behing them and it stays nice and neat.

Didn't even have to do any drilling.
