and waterproofed. The waterproofing is the key. If the surface dirt can't "wash down" during a rain into the fabric due to proper waterproofing, the dirt instead just runs off. Remember rain, in and of itself, is often dirty during the beginning of a rain.

I have a "peanut butter" top since new on my 98/2.8, and have not had any problems with dirt marks.

BTW, that would be one pretty car, Oxford and beige!
