insurance industry. I can give you, "my thoughts", which should not be construed in any way to be a form a legal advise. Most insurance companies want to be fair and compensate you for your loss. They work on the law of imdemnity, which basicaly means, getting you back to the place you were, prior to the accident. This would be repairing you noggin, and taking care of the cost. They cannot give you back the time you spent in the hospital, or the time you lost at the crap table. The fact that they are paying the medical portion, on the face shows that they are accepting responsibilty for the accident. That said you are entitled to compensation for your inconvience. If they don't offer, you need to ask....but do not make it an adversary situation. Keep the adjuster on your side....just slide in...and how will I be compensated for my lost time on my vacation. If he, or she, says something to the effect...you should have kept fat head out of the way...then you may want to mention the "A" word, or ask for the number to the insurance commisioner. If your are asking for "fair" compensation them "most" campanies will treat you in the same manner
