I am fuming right now so please excuse the following rant.
Two weeks ago we wrote BMWFS a check for $18,000 to purchase a 318ti that we were leasing. We explained that time was of the essence as we had a buyer ready to purchase the car. We received the title and bill of sale this weekend. BMW SIGNED THE TITLE OVER TO A CALIFORNIA CORPORATION AND ENCLOSED A BILL OF SALE FOR A 528I!!!!! They also had the damn thing NOTORIZED!!! Do these people even read what they sign! Apparently, there is a 528i in California with my name on the title and that corporation has my bill of sale!!! Now I'm completely f*cked. I have to somehow get BMW to send me a new title immediately. While explaining to the purchaser, that its not my fault, but that BMW has its head completely in its... I love BMWFS, not only do they $crew you on their leases, but they give your cars away too. Thanks BMWFS...always a pleasure!
