When I was there the last few times, it seemed that every commercial on TV was for a lawyer. There are complicated laws about the taxis there, they made me crazy with it. They said the windows in the MGM Grand don't open because of lawsuits- there is a lawsuit about just about everything there and I think I remember someone saying it was the number 1 industry- over gambling!! in Vegas.
I have no idea of the merits of your claim and I make no judgement- I am just curious as heck to see how this works out. I admit to being so mad about them hassling me every second about releases and wild taxi drivers and overcharging and underserving, as irrelevant as that is, I'd love to see you win something from them!
I know, I know, that is the wrong attitude.
Obviously the best thing is if they show a little class and give you a plane ticket to come back or 20 free round trips to the airport or chips or a couple hundred dollars or something to buy good will, and you heal up and forget about it.
Disclaimer: anyone who mistakes this for legal advice is too brain dead to help anyway ;D
To cut a long story short - I was cut on the head by the trunk lid of a Taxi whilst in Las Vegas last week - driver didn't look and shut trunk on my head - LOTS of blood - required 7 staples to fix. The taxi insurance is covering the medical bills - what - if any - personal injury compensation would I get - is it worth pursuing? I will be having the staples out in 3 days - not too much damage - 2 inch gash on scalp. Keep getting the odd headache but not much more damage. what dya think? any help would be appreciated...
