I within the last two months bought my first Z3-- 98 2.8L-- Here in Birmingham ther are still few enough of these cars around and suprisingly few enough roadsters around where the waves even cross brands (Miata-BMW &c)
This is like it was in 1968 when i had my first roadster-- a black TR-3
While on my usual Sunday drive, top down, sun shining, a 2000 M Roadster pulled along side my 97 2.8. Both of our tops were down and I turned and said hello. The other driver looked me dead in the eye and turned away. We moved up to the next traffic light and I again tried to exchange greetings with the driver, who again looked at me and turned his head. When the light changed, he pulled ahead of me and cut in front of me. I must have missed the circumcision mark around his neck. I have never met a roadster driver who did not at least acknowledge another owner. How rude.....
