I don't think that I am the first with this problem, and wonder what solutions others have found for the child versus airbag problem. Oh well, I guess it will be a mute point in a few years, when they insist that I take the passenger seat. Worse yet, they'll probably recommend that I stay at home while they run the errands.

John, in the state of Maine it is leagle to disable the air bag If the state approves a letter from you, indicating why you needed to disabble It ... Now here is where the politics come In....You can't get a shop,dealership,etc. to remove it for you, because they become liable in the case of an accident !!! I have grandchildren that I'd love to transport in my Z but, I won't due to the airbag !!!! This is going to remain to be a problem for a while knowing how the government drags it feet !!!!
