That was perhaps a misunderstanding of what I had heard about the transferring the shock or however it should be written- meaning if someone hit one side of the car, a strut brace would literally connect it to the other side of the car, which could mean the other side would sustain damage that it might have been spared, if it hadn't been connected to the side that got hit.

I think I also read something to say that if that did happen, it would have to be an impact of such force that it would bend the frame anyway or do enough damage as to make the point moot- but I really don't know. Again, I would refer this kind of discussion to people who know something about it- unlike me.

Meanwhile... when you gonna tell us the story of what happened and post some pics? ;D
