Just tried to install it today on Artic Silver. The install is quite difficult, a company recomended installer gave up after 4 hours on the hood piece.

We got far enough along that I could tell that it was going to look bad on silver, way too noticeable. The good thing, the guy was totally honest, said "No Charge", said he had not had this level of trouble installing it on trucks and SUV's. I'm glad I didn't try it myself.

The material does have a slight tint, so being visible on light colors becomes no surprise. What was weird was that the material was more tinted when we removed it than when it was on the backing paper.

My experience with the material was not so good. We called another installer and his only advice was just keep working with it. But we had pulled it up too many times, so that there were some permanent kinks in the material.

I watched the video Xpel sent him on installation and it makes the process look fairly simple, real life was something else. Thankfully, there is no damage to the car for the effort.
