especially since the engine is new and still very tight. However when I made my decision to use Red Line in my engine from 2,500 miles on, the engineer at Red Line suggested after careful consideration and conversation that the best choice for mainly high speed hot Florida highway driving was to use their 10W40. I have had excellent results with this oil in my 98/2.8, now with 33k.
