I just wondered what my rights were in the US regarding the cut head. Over in the UK you hear all about the law suits for seemingly trivial accidents/incidents in the US, and as someone said - every second advert on the TV in Nevada is for a lawyer!
All I wondered was what I was entitled too for having some fool - who was NOT paying attention - spoil a large portion of a holiday (not just for me - my wife was VERY upset to see me covered in blood and lying on the sidewalk!) we had been looking forward to and saving hard for.

Accidents do happen, but this was an accident caused by someones negligence - which is the bit that annoys me the most - the driver just wasn't paying any attention. I'm quite tall and well built - 6'1'' and 200 pounds - and it rattled me - had it been my wife or a child/little old lady, then the situation would have been a lot worse. I know he didn't mean to do - why would he? I was going to tip him!! - he just wasn't paying attention!

Thats it - thanks again for the advice - as one of my good friends said - "you wont be able to claim for disfigurment - you were always ugly!"

Roger - did I say my head hurtZZZZZZZ?
