When I Fogged my 1.9 I found an easy way to hold the box and prevent the holesaw from wandering.

After I determined the location of the cutout. I took a 2-3' piece of scrap 2x6 and screwed the airbox onto it (the screw holes were inside the diameter of the 4" hole). This provided a 'tail' that I clamped down to my work bench and enough support that I was able to make quick, clean cut w/o wandering or catching.
