Phazer by TechnoScout....questions (archive)

I know the V1 is THE radar detector to buy. I have just ordered one. I saw the "Phazer" in Car and Driver. It's the device that "jams" the lazer and radar signal the cop send at our car. Supposed to result in "no reading" at the cops end. If this thing really works, I want one in addition to the V1. Anybody have any experience with this device or seen any text evaluations? They don't list a web site in their ad on page 93 of C&D August 2000 issue.They have a couple different models available.
