Sorry, don't know. I've never even seen this part on my Z3.

If you have shifting problems, it might be worth noting whether they happen all the time, or more when the engine or weather is cold.
My car is harder to shift into 2nd until I've been driving for about 10 mins.
It's also harder to shift when starting to drive in cold weather.

Have you fitted a clutch stop? If so, it may not be adjusted for enough clutch free play.
