Just cut my first-ever audio CD using a CD writer on my PC. Eagerly I put it in the Z and went for a drive. I was very disappointed to find that the player skips over light-to-moderate bumps. I'm used to the CD skipping on heavy bumps but the performance has been pretty good until now.
Is this standard for CDR disks? I used a real cheap disk media - no-name disks that Circuit City sold for free (after rebate). Can I get better performance from better disks? Who's good? I've always liked Verbatim but I'm old fashioned.
