Hi. For months now, I'm gazing at the ugly mineral deposits, on the clear headlight lenses, caused by some city water source. Nothing so far had worked. Until today!
Get "Whink's" glass/ceramic cook top cleaner or an equal product. Rub out the mineral stains. Apply "Meguiar's" No. 17 clear plastic cleaner and finish with "Meguiar's" No. 10 clear plastic polish. Wipe and remove previous the application, before applying the next one.
One word of caution, I wouldn't try this on the clear coat paint. Good luck, Sig in Vacaville, CA.
