I wanted to get some opinions on adding some power to a z3. The goal here is to have a decently quick streetable z3.. a turbo sounds like a good option, if it's safe... (of course that's a big if) ... whose a manufacturer of some 1.9 kits? I've thought about super, but I don't think it's worth it for the money... are there any Naturally aspirated tracks that are worth it?

Also, who makes some coilovers for the z3 that aren't a fortune?

As you can see from JK's post there is no cheaper option to add many horses than the Downing Supercharger kit. I have 2 associates that have 30k+ miles on this setup and no worries. I also have supercharged a 2.8 with excellent results, requiring no more mods than increasing the airflow( new intake and exhaust)
On the contrary to not being worth the money it is the biggest bang for your buck by far. I'm not going to get into the supercharger vs turbo debate (I personally just found turbos more expensive and complex)but blowin rules.
