The service manager explained to me that the leaks are caused by a drainage tube that runs down inside the A pillar rubberseal getting clogged or crushed by the way the top meets the molding. He stated that my pass side was clogged and was just cleaned out, but they replaced the driver side. My worst leaks occur when I brake and the water seems to flow forward through the seals, so this may be true, but as St-Pete replied, I have found that putting the top down with windows down helps prevent the problem. I also use the "rubberphluge" treatment from BMW, which also helps make a better seal.
