Keep playing with it...it'll grow on you. You should be able to control how loud it is in most every condition. Idling it should be hsrdly noticable...smooth accelerations shouldn't be too loud...putting your foot into it (especially above 3500 RPM) should make it roar.

I even removed the resonator on mine, and I only notice resonation at WOT above 6000 RPM.

I think the mounting of the system is a key to making it work right. If the mounting is too tight, the resonance and other exhaust vibration will vibrate through the frame and engine. Too loose and the whole thing could start coming apart.

Well I did it I bought the pieces just like the article said and had it installed today... Well I must say it is a bit loud. Verdict is still out as I am not really sure I am going to stay with it. It really resonates and I have only driven with the top down. I am sure it will really get ugly with the hard top installed. It was by far the cheapest of the systems to obtain. I think I only have $220 in the whole thing including install (got a deal there). Just beware of the noise :)
