In Reply to: Bridgestone Pole Position, would you buy them? posted by maryb on October 27, 2000 at 09:15:55:

The factory Michelins on my 2.8 were not bad at all, only I thought the handling in wet could improve. So I switched to the Bridgestone's and now I know why everybody on this board seems to like this tire.

More comfortable on bad roads and as far as I could experience near the limit they give more feedback to driver. It seems to me they start loosing grip just a little bit earlier than the Michelins but not as explicit. So the drifts are starting smoother.

But for me the wet handling (Belgium has at least 250 days per year where you get a chance to drive in the rain) is far superior.

You canít go wrong with the Pole Positionís
