Apparently with AST/ASC, if air is introduced into the system (ie. not topping off the reservoir) you're screwed. Actually, I'm screwed. I had accidently allowed the reservoir too low and air entered the system. Well, a simple pressure bleed won't do. The AST/ASC has dozens of valves within and the pressure bleeder won't get those air bubbles out of all those valves. It'll take the BMW dealer to use their computer to open/close valves to get all the air out. plus $60.
